4th-5th Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum 1940s Weekend

Come and join us at Easter for a weekend of being transported back to the 1940's.
Visit the on site attractions of the 1950's Prefab, the Toy Museum, Bike Museum, and The Old Regal Cinema. Take a ride around the site on the Trolleybus and take advantage of the Motor Bus ride around the local villages.
To add to all that is already on offer Wartime Displays and Vintage Traders will be on site for the weekend. Take in the sounds of 1940's while listening to the Entertainment, you could even have a dance.

Join us from 10am until 4pm for a vintage weekend of 1940s fun and nostalgia!
Step back in time with Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station. Reminisce about our military past and marvel at the selection of military vehicles which will be on display, alongside stalls and exhibits that will be celebrating all things 40s.
Dress up in your finest vintage attire and jive, jitterbug and swing away to 1940s music all weekend.
Entry to the station is free. We will be running our Steam train all weekend, no need to pre-book for a ride, just pay on the day and hop on for a jolly down the track. When it’s time for a break, head on into The Sidings for food and refreshments whilst the kids play on our Children’s play area.

This will be a wonderful chance for 1940's enthusiasts to come down and enjoy the fashion and memorabilia of the era. We will have a 1940s DJ and live singers, so dancing is guaranteed!!!!!

The Ironbridge 1940s Weekend will be held on May 23rd-24th , 2026, at Dale End Park in Coalbrookdale, Telford. It will be a World War Two themed event featuring re-enactors, vehicles, entertainment, a 1940s style pub, traders, and camping. There will also be a 1940s dance on Friday and Saturday evenings
The event is organized by A commitee Chaired by Paul Bull and is described as a fantastic weekend with something for everyone. The venue is located at Dale End Park, Coalbrookdale, TF8 7EG. The event aims to immerse visitors in the atmosphere of the 1940s, with historical displays and activities.
