Steve Mason, better known as DJ Dr Swing, is an experienced, specialist DJ with a proven track record in keeping both dancers and non-dancing guests happy. He plays music from the 30s to the 50s, dependent on the requirements of the event, and engages with attendees as more than just a DJ.

Steve is also an experienced dance teacher who frequently provides taster classes alongside his DJing duties.  These could include Lindy Hop, Lambeth Walk, Barn Dance and many other social dances of the era.  He has the experience to know how to draw the audience in, and the skills to ensure that they learn more than they thought they could.

He frequently acts as compere at festivals and events, entertaining the audience with his dry sense of humour and introducing the live acts working alongside him.  If there’s room for dancing, Steve can fill the dance floor with dancers.  These then provide entertainment and are a draw for attendees who might like to learn something themselves.
